Downtown DeGen Alley

One of the poorest areas in Genesis City, DeGen Alley has been populated by reminiscents from the time before the Grand Alliance. Over time, it became a violent area where local gangs started to operate. It’s here that Attikus Trask rules his ops, acting like a local kingpin. That situation led people to believe the league had forgotten DeGen Alley, with crime and poverty growing daily.

DeGen Alley started as a beautiful alley, with a living market, and the area where it stays became famous in Gen City. Later in time, it decayed, and the whole area where the alley is inside, a section in town called “DEGEN DISTRICT”, was affected by crime, and corruption.

You also have regular, working people living in DeGen’s area, and in DEGEN DISTRICT. They are the ones who suffer the most in this situation. They are the ones who start to think maybe Attikus’s system gives them some safety anyway and turn to him instead of the league.

Night Ape, Griff, and Raiju try to help DeGen Alley’s dwellers as they can, but especially after the kidnappings and Duma’s efforts to discredit the league (Let’s not forget Boyle and his show), things start to get crazy in this area.

After what happens in the parade, DeGen alley will be the stage for local warlords to arise, creating chaos, and threatening even Attikus’ control over the neighborhood.
